Following its splashy $14 million Super Bowl ad, The Intelligence Age, which humorously put artificial intelligence right next to history’s greatest human accomplishments, OpenAI has launched its first official global brand campaign.

This new series features three distinct advertisements that take a much gentler approach. Instead of offering grand statements about the future of AI, these spots focus on demonstrating how the chatbot can subtly enhance everyday life by making things smoother and simpler.

The ads illustrate this quiet utility:

  • One ad shows a brother successfully planning a road trip with his sister, complete with a perfect Neil Diamond soundtrack, all thanks to the chatbot’s help.
  • Another features an average-looking man who finally masters his pull-up goal by following a workout routine that ChatGPT personalized just for him.

Essentially, OpenAI is moving away from monumental claims to show ChatGPT as a practical, helpful co-star in the story of a person’s life.
