Honda WN7 Electric Bike 2025: Specs, Range & Price

Honda WN7 2025: The Electric Streetfighter That’s Ready to Redefine Urban Riding

Honda is officially diving into the deep end of the electric motorcycle pool with the launch of the WN7 Electric Bike. Unveiled as the production version of the striking EV Fun Concept, the WN7 isn’t just a concept anymore—it’s a full-sized electric streetfighter designed for the next generation of urban commuters and young riders who demand a blend of style, performance, and eco-friendly fun.

Design: Retro Looks Meet Modern Agility

The WN7 is a head-turner, sporting a retro-modern, naked streetfighter design. It skillfully blends a sleek profile, a slim ‘tank’ area, a classic round LED headlight, and a chopped rear fender. The whole package sits on a steel trellis frame and features a clean-looking single-sided swingarm, making its sporty 17-inch alloy wheels really stand out.

At 217 kg, the bike manages to feel surprisingly agile in the city, thanks to its compact dimensions and 1,400 mm wheelbase. With 150 mm of ground clearance, it’s built to handle urban bumps while remaining stable on smoother roads. You can grab it in bold black or sharp metallic finishes.

Punchy Performance and Practical Range

Don’t let the silent operation fool you; the WN7 has the grunt to back up its looks. It’s powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering a 100 Nm of instant torque. That translates to some fun acceleration, with the bike hitting 0-100 kmph in about 5-6 seconds and topping out at 130 kmph.

The power comes from a fixed 11 kWh lithium-ion battery. While a fixed battery might limit true long-distance touring, it’s highly practical for city life, offering a claimed range of 130 km (expect closer to 100-120 km in the real world). And when you do need juice, the CCS2 fast charging is a game-changer, zipping from 20% to 80% charge in just 30 minutes. Home charging via Level 2 is an easy under three hours.

Rider Tech and Comfort

The WN7’s cockpit is all about the rider. You get a relaxed, upright riding position thanks to the mid-mounted pegs and upright handlebars—perfect for navigating traffic. The brain of the bike is a 5-inch TFT dashboard that handles everything from speed and battery status to selectable riding modes (Eco, Sport, and Regen).

It’s also fully connected, with Bluetooth integration for navigation, calls, and music, plus a handy USB-C charging port. Honda even included a reverse gear—a small but thoughtful touch that makes parking in tight spots painless. The focus here is a refined experience: low noise, low vibration, and just pure, instant acceleration.

Price and Market Position

Set to enter production in late 2025 with deliveries starting in early 2026, the WN7 is targeting the mid-range EV market. It’s priced competitively at £12,999 in the UK, which translates to around Rs. 14.5 lakh ex-showroom in India.

This positioning puts it directly against established rivals like the Zero SR/F and Energica Ego, offering a balanced mix of affordability, Honda reliability, and style. The generous three-year, unlimited kilometer warranty adds a layer of confidence for early adopters.

Early rider feedback suggests a winning formula: great torque, quiet operation, and excellent urban handling. While the fixed battery and slightly firm seat might be minor sticking points, the WN7 looks poised to be a major player in the electric motorcycle evolution.
